About WDAAZ

The Western Dressage Association of Arizona is dedicated to promoting and advancing Western Dressage throughout the state, providing a platform for riders of all levels.

We focus on fostering education, facilitating competition, and cultivating a strong, engaged community, while honoring the rich traditions of Western riding.

Our mission is guided by a distinguished Board of Directors whose leadership is essential to the success and growth of the Association. These dedicated individuals play a key role in shaping our initiatives and ensuring the continued development of Western Dressage in Arizona.

The Western Dressage Association of Arizona was founded with the vision of bringing together riders who share a passion for blending the traditions of Western riding with the principles of classical dressage. Established in 2006, the organization has grown to become a key player in advancing Western Dressage throughout the state, offering a variety of events, clinics, and educational opportunities for riders of all ages and skill levels. The Association's roots lie in the desire to create a community where both seasoned professionals and newcomers alike can learn, compete, and connect. Over the years, WDAA Arizona has played an instrumental role in promoting the sport, supporting its riders, and preserving the values of Western horsemanship, while embracing the benefits of dressage training to improve the overall partnership between horse and rider.
